TiAL Blow Off Valve
New for 1999 - the TiAL "Blow Off Valve" for turbo-charged and super-charged applications (Paxton,Vortec,etc.). The body and all internal components are CNC-machined from 6061 aluminum alloy. It features a large 1.98 in. (50.3 mm) valve; we believe this is the largest valve available with the highest flow capacity .
The V-band design aluminum mounting clamp gives a very clean and unique appearance. The clamp is anodized and uses stainless steel hardware for a long lasting, corrosion-free appearance.
The valve seal utilizes a Viton O-ring that is clamped in place to prevent the possibility of sticking to the seat and pulling out. The valve stem and guide are Teflon-lubricated, hard anodize-coated for wear resistance.
The Blow-Off Valve also comes with our own machined aluminum banjo-type air fitting and bolt, with over sized 10mm hose barb for quick actuator response. The actuator has a high temp silicone Nomex-reinforced diaphragm for long life.
An aluminum or steel weld base mounting flange is furnished with each unit. The use of 6061 aluminum allows the housing to be anodized with a selection of colors where most cast aluminum alloys can not be anodized. This allows the individual to match, or coordinate, the engine compartment color scheme. The clamp, valve, and housing will be offered in dark gray, red, blue, and violet to allow you to mix or match the clamp, body, and valve assembly to create a look unique to your application. You may also purchase a plain or unassembled unit to anodize or color-coat as you like.
An optional air collector for recirculation back to the turbo, as some systems may require, will be available in May or June.

HKS Super Sequential Blow Off Valve
The Super Sequential Blow Off Valve is a pull type relief valve, unlike other blow off valves which are push type. The SSBV is actuated by pressure alterations only, ensuring quick valve response and complete closure during idle. Standard blow-off valves must utilize large valves in order to accommodate high boost (high horsepower) applications. However these large valves react slowly and require high activation pressure to open. Smaller, fast reacting valves, do not permit the air flow required for high horsepower. The Super Sequential Blow Off Valve incorporates both for maximum performance. It is engineered utilizing a small primary valve for ultra quick activation along with a secondary valve for additional relief capacity. The SSBV is made of billet aluminum and emits a unique aggressive sound.
