Class Description:

This class is to display the true nature of no bar drag racing using crazy horsepower on a drag radial tire with no bars..
All bikes must be street legal with VIN tag, self-starting with motorcycle engines.

Body:

Body work must maintain the same lines/look as the factory bodywork for that model bike.

FRONT CHASSIS/SUSPENSION:

Rigid forks prohibited. 2 inches from top of triple clamp maximum. 1 inch of travel mandatory.

TRIPLE CLAMPS:

Nothing less than a 1/2 offset clamps allowed.

FRONT AXLES:

Front axle assemblies may be remanufactured or replaced with aftermarket components.
.75" maximum from outside of fork leg.
1.50" maximum in diameter
Maximum weight for axle assembly( spacers, nuts, bolts etc) is 5 lbs

FRAME:

Stock OEM frames required.
Short Necking allowed.

BALLAST:

Ballast is allowed and has to be mounted by bolts or welded

No ballast may be mounted to any portion of the front suspension, brake system, fender system, or rotating assembly.

WHEELBASE:

TURBOCHARGED 4-CYLINDERS and SUPERCHARGERS: Maximum wheelbase 68 inches.

ALL MOTOR / NITROUS-ONLY 4-CYLINDERS / V-TWINS: Maximum wheelbase 68 inches.

TIRES:

DOT motorcycle street tires only, slicks prohibited.

GROUND CLEARANCE:

TURBOCHARGED 4-CYLINDERS and SUPERCHARGERS: Minimum 3” with rider sitting on bike

ALL MOTOR / NITROUS-ONLY 4-CYLINDERS / V-TWINS: Minimum 2” with rider sitting on bike

SEAT:

Turbocharged entrants have a minimum seat height of 22”.
All others have a minimum seat height of 20”.

 

CLUTCHES:

TURBOCHARGED & SUPERCHARGED 4-CYLINDERS: Slider clutches prohibited. 80 lbs minimum static.

V-TWINS & NON-TURBOCHARGED 4-CYLINDERS: Any approved clutch system.

ENGINE:

Production-based motorcycle engines permitted, with any internal modifications permitted. All engines must be self-starting and utilize OEM-style starting systems.

No fuel containing nitro allowed
No fuel may be altered from original manufacture blend

TRANSMISSION:

TURBOCHARGED & SUPERCHARGED 4-CYLINDERS: Automatic transmissions prohibited.
NON-TURBOCHARGED 4-CYLINDERS & V-TWINS: Automatic transmissions permitted.

ELECTRICAL:

headlight and tail light are required and must be functional. Must have a full charging system.

 

GENERAL RULES

Bikes must cross scales after every qualifying and elimination pass.Head light and tail light must be functional

UNIFORMS:

Matching uniforms or matching shirts are required to be on the starting line or in the burn box area as a crew member. Crew members must leave the starting line and burnout area after each pass.
