Team NLR / DME / Orient Express win another race and re-set the PSB record!

Team NLR / DME / ORIENT EXPRESS wins Pro Sportbike at the Summer Sizzler on August 26-27th at Rockingham Dragway. Jason Miller of Mechanicsville, MD took his turbocharged 2003 Suzuki Hayabusa to the winners circle again and set a new ET record of 7.738 during the process.

“Both of our team NLR / DME / ORIENT EXPRESS riders Jason Miller and Dimey Eddinger ran their personal best ETs this weekend,” said Sebastion Domingo of NLR. Jason Miller and Dimey Eddinger had to run each other in the semi finals because they were on the same side of the ladder. Dimey got out in front first with a .048 reaction time to Jason’s .088 reaction time, and Miller came out on top with a new record of 7.738 and Dimey also ran his best of 7.863. The margin of victory was only .08 seconds.

“Steve Earwood of Rockingham Dragway did an excellent job of track prep this weekend”, said Jason Miller. “The Sun was out and it was hot and the track was a little greasy but there was still a lot of bite out there”, Miller added.

The win for Miller moved him closer to the points leader Anthony Navarro. Miller hurt a motor at the previous event and was unable to compete in eliminations and that hurt his points lead and put him into 2nd place. “I gained 29 points on Navarro this weekend, and I only have 32 more points to go to catch him with 2 races left. It is going to be tough at the next 2 races to catch back up, and we cant make any mistakes now. Joe Hahn of Orient Express has provided me with a spare now, so we won’t be caught with our pants down again” Miller stated.
